Ron, Here is what I found in the FAQ section.


User titles - what are they? What are the levels?
To inject a little fun into this forum, Steve and I have created new user titles.
User titles are the labels that the forum software applies under your name in each thread and posting.

User titles are listed below. So far no one has 5,000 posts!

Other way 'round. In spite of the nomenclature, the titles have little relation to woodturning abilities. Most of them relate to the number of posts. A 10,000 post member would spend most of the time at the computer, with only a dim memory of the lathe.😀

And to get to 10,000, the board will have to be up for a long time. As an example, I am here probably 10x a day and have been here for 5 years (I'll be darn, we just hit our 5th anniversary) with 2620 posts.So, roughly 20 years at this rate, and frankly, I hope to still be here.
