A Mecpow 10W diode laser engraver/cutter that is housed in a custom-built enclosure to reduce smoke exposure and danger from diode laser light (eye protection still required). Laser has a working area of ~400 mm x 400 mm. The 10W laser is capable of cutting, in my use, easily through 1/4” plywood, 1/8” black acrylic and other non-transparent materials (cardboard, paper, leather, etc.). The 10W laser has a high degree of accuracy for engraving. Includes air-assisit pump and tubing for improved and cleaner cutting and engraving. Enclosure includes lighting, smoke extraction port and adjustable venting for efficient vapor removal. Also includes laser setup gauge, eyeglasses, honeycomb working surface and protective metal floor. Honeycomb is removable allowing for depth to engrave or cut items like bowls, plates, tumblers, etc. Laser works with Lightburn and GRBL Laser (not included) and can work on Mac or Windows. I am also including several of the set-up cards I have made for this specific laser for use on wood to ease your use and refine your personal setting preferences.
