Nice piece of wood, OD. Doesn't look like it's going to have soft spots, either. It's a short trip from spalt to spoilt. If you're talking Pangea, maybe there's a resemblance. If you had a big enough bandsaw maybe you could work a nice panel to put inside a turned frame for a jewelery box. Scroll up the mid-Atlantic ridge and pivot E and W from the N pole.
