First let me thanks all the members on this board for all the help that has been given to all who has asked for help.
Last month I posted for help with my problem of tear-out. I recieved many helpful tips but one person in perticular stated that they would be happy to help me with my gouge skills.
That young man went out of his way on his weekend to selfishly spend hours of his personal time to give me hands on instruction, adivise on sharpening, helpful tips on sanding, and much more information on turning. I can't thank him enough to share his knowledge and time with this unskillful newby to turning.
In this day and age of selfishness, the me generation, you just don't find those people very often. I would never have reached such an individual had it not been for this forum. I really appreciate all of your help and espically that of Vince from woodnwonders.
Thanks again for all your help- Gary
