Some folks are getting together Wednesday night at the Bridge Bar in the Galt House @8:00 PM for some fellowship and maybe some adult beverages, everyone is invited. Rob Wallace in another thread has invited all for an informal activity for Thursday night. Banquet on Friday. As a fellow Floridian I hope to see you there!
Just double confirming that the Bridge Bar does indeed have adult beverages. There are a couple hundred people in there right now from another group. And they aren't drinking diet sodas!
Also for everyone reading this, if you arrive by plane check out the small Kentucky gallery in the luggage pickup area. It has a welcome plaque for the symposium attendees and about a dozen very nice pieces from the talented local turners here. It is very well done and in a glass booth. As you descend from the escalator it is on the right on the same floor as the baggage claim.
Thank you Kentucky turners for that nice gesture!!!!
