Live Remote Demonstration - Video

Cindy,

It sounds like the audio came through with good quality, some of the earlier audio and video conferencing had poor quality audio. For groups wanting to participate in remote demonstrations it helps to have a good sound system that can broadcast quality audio in the room you are using so that everyone in the room can hear the audio without straining to understand or hear the presentation. A good quality microphone is a must for the presenter, if you have a poor quality microphone it goes down hill from there. The other concern is bandwidth capable of carrying the video and audio signal so that it does not buffer on the other end where the audience is viewing the demonstration. A slow internet connection will cause audio buffering and video that can lock up.

This video was filmed at the club's site by Alan Z. He had a good quality microphone. I also have a good one on my broadcast end. The conference call software is Zoom.us, which allows quality audio and 720p HD video. You're right about good audio being important!
