Hi, kind of a long shot, but I was wondering if anyone happens to live near Leon or know of any turners in the area. I come down here a lot and I see the wood they make furniture out of and I just can't help thinking about turning it. It would be so cool to meet someone with a shop.
Just a thought

Fine. No wood turners??? I'll take up wood carving! I've already made tremendous progress on this piece of wood. I'm pretty sure this is how my ancestors started out in the villages of mount Lebanon! I've seen pictures. They were all poor and missing fingers

Oh, man!

Remember, all fingers stay behind the edge of the butter knives...
