Do your lathes have internet connections? At the rate everyone replies to the questions nobody seems to be turning.

Just asking because I would love to have internet connection on my lathe.

This is really just in jest. Unless your lathes do have internet connections, what make are they.

Just trying to lighten the tensions.

Lathes and accessories

Mine doesn't have the Internet but I do wish it had a half-bath so I wouldn't have to run upstairs.

I surf on my iPod touch. It also provides the music to my shop. I did install a laundry sink, but no half bath.

Mine has a USB port that connects directly into the tailstock. Of course, I can't use the tailstock and the internet at the same time, but that's only a minor problem. Hope to get high speed internet next week so that I can use the tailstock and log on to the forums at the same time. 😀

Isn't one of the reasons for being happy about sawdust on the floor ....🙂

I have a dedicated laptop right next to the lathe.

It mostly runs Woodturner Pro and FireFox.

Mine does, but unfortunately, I wired the dial-up connection to the speed control. It's only usable when I am spindle turning...

Ipad is way to go

Ipad has nice large screen. Eye TV has app that allows me to watch TV on Ipad. Woodturning dvds are on my itunes. Pop up keyboard to boot. 3g if needed. Great device but too addicting. 😀
