Can you tell me what kind of lathe is used in the Woodcraft "How to" video, Faceplate turning part 1? Go to www.woodcraft.com click on "How to video library, on the right side. The swivel head looks like a good idea if it dosen't effect allignment with the tail stock.
 
It's a Robert Sorby lathe, one of 4 models (RS2F, RS3F, RS4F, or variable speed) shown in the 2001-2002 Robert Sorby catalogue (pp. 22-23). Apparently, it's no longer made, since it's not listed as an available product in Sorby's 2004-2005 catalogue. (The 2004-2005 catalogue does show a picutre of a woodturner turning a bowl on one - same photo used in the 2001-2002 catalogue.)
