Large(giant) coring tools?

Aloha,
I am soon going to mount and turn a bowl between 36"-40" dia and would like to take out some large cores. Does anyone make tools for coring in the 20-36" range?

That sounds like a hell of a gloat to me. I guess you'll have to design your own system for that big axe bowl. Or...I would call Oneway to see if they can custom one up for you.

30 INCH! Jumpin' Jehosaphat!

I saw a commercial coring system at the Great Alaskan Bowl Company in Fairbanks Alaska, but I don't think they even do bowls that big.

Hi Doug,

Vernon Leibrant cores out pieces larger than most people turn. Twice in the past Vernon has given a demonstration for the attendees of Sophie's BBQ. He has bowls on his shelves big enough to take a bath. Vernon is an incredibly nice person, just like you Doug. I am sure he would answer any question you might have.
