Klingspor's Green Wood Sealer

I just use Titebond or Elmers glue. Both work fine. I have a couple of 'old' bottles, like the gallon size, and drown the surface you are trying to seal. No clue as to how they compare cost wise...

I run a small sawmill and have used Anchorseal to end seal logs in the past but switched to the Klingspor stuff due to price. I can see no difference and do use it on wood turnings at times.

Brian, do you do the same dilution-12oz water per Gallon of glue? Thanks!
More or less - I pour out about 2/3 pint of glue into a pint jar, top it off with water and shake it up to mix, then slather it on. I'd guess maybe a bit thinner than 12 oz water to a gallon - but my 2/3 :1/3 mix seems to work for me. Basically mixing water into the glue until it's about the consistency of a latex paint, I guess. (Thicker than mixing glue & water for joint sizing, but thinner than straight glue)

I'm with you. I switched when Anchor Seal went to their "new formula" I have found that titebond #1 works great and as a bonus, I never run out of glue!
