Hi All. I started turning in 1982 on a General 162. Over the next 15 years, I collected many local hardwood, burls and figured wood. Then my career got in the way and I left woodturning for about 20 years. I have worked in the lawn and garden industry for almost 30 years. But 4 years ago, as retirement neared, I jumped back in. My old General was not up to turning the pieces I had collected, so I invested in a Oneway 2436. They are just an hour from where I live and Kevin actually delivered it and helped me set it up. They are a class act to say the least.
I’m a member of a local artisans group out of Paris, Ontario. Currently we are still in pandemic isolation In Canada, so I’m busy working through my wood inventory. Looking forward to participating in forum discussions and posting images of some of my better pieces.
