Just wondering about board member election

Bill:

Candidates received a message this week that the auditors are counting the ballots on Monday (22 October), but as far as I know, there has been no further information released about when the results of the election will be announced.

Thanks, Rob.

BTW, do you have your new machine yet?

I've sort of been out of touch with what is going on in the world recently. First my dad was in the hospital for a few days, then me, and now my mom. All of us have had our fill of Jell-O and broth for a while.

Good Morning Bill!!

YES!!! I have the new American Beauty in place for the past two weeks (It was done at least four weeks earlier than expected!) and I have turned a few items on it, although I've not had as much time to turn on it as I would like due to giving and grading mid-term exams and doing a lot of paperwork and reports for two committees I chair.

Yesterday our woodworkers club had our annual 'open house' style shop tours, and I was one of the hosts this year.....I had to keep a towel handy to clean-up the drool when fellow turners visited my shop and were ogling the new lathe. I think the majority were most impressed with the tail stock tilt away, and the many ergonomically compatible features it has.

It is one exceptional machine!

Have a great day!

Rob

Rob...... If I weren't so devoted to my old Australian Woodfast lathe, that Robust American Beauty is one that would be mighty appealing. Congratulations, and hope it will satisfy your every need.

Bill.....Best wishes to you, and your parents for return to health.

Odie-

Just about my my work is done on my Oneway, but there are times that I have a piece on the big lathe and I need to turn something to fit it. Just chuck up what I need on my mini and turn away. Such as inlaying epoxy in a piece and need time for it to set and cure. When I'm in a grove and I just chuck up another piece and make more shavings.

Does anybody know when the results of the Board Member election will be announced?

Congratulations to Kurt Hertzog, Rob Wallace and Lou Williams.

Rob and Lou will be fine additions to the board.

I want to thank each of them for volunteering to serve us.
I also think our six candidates were the strongest field we have had for an election.

Work safer
Al
