My resource directory is here already! I was away in WI for a week and the mail had piled up somewhat. I did not even expect to see it yet, since I am at the end of the line and then some when it comes to getting my mail. As an aside, I discovered with a letter from Woodturning Design that I was supposed to get at least one more issue when I thought perhaps my subscription had expired. My mailman must be a turner!

Now if only my tools will arrive from WI... The train was not a lot different than the plane. You stand around a lot, meet some very, uhhh, interesting people, and they lose your luggage.

Bill

Hey, Bill.

How about those interesting people in Wisconsin? Pretty darn nice group I'd say. Sure did enjoy your demo and finely meeting you after the web and email. See you in Louisville.

Well, at least you don't spend a lot of time taxiing around. And, they are probably not as "interesting" as the people at the bus terminal.

Welcome back home, Bill, hope the train ride and the "horizontal phone booth" was bearable! As miserable as I was with the tail end of a sinus infection, I'm very glad I sat through the whole demo.
Even with the amount of attendees, it was much like a one-on-one workshop because you gave individual attention to anyone who needed a question answered, and the opportunity for anyone to try a cut on a bowl blank with you looking over their shoulder. A high-quality demo all around, thank you.

Hi guys!

Cyril and Ken, I had a great time with you and all the rest out there, and I could not have been treated better. It was a lot of fun for me as well, and I am looking forward to the tape. Pam promised me a copy.

Bill, your comment about the bus brought back a memory. It was way back in the distant past, 1982 to be specific, and I had taken the bus to visit SWMBO to be. She put me on the bus home and not more than five minutes after I boarded, a disreputable looking fellow sat down in the seat in front of me, turned around and said:

"Hey, do you have any pot? You have to have some pot, everybody has pot!"

He was all sweaty and shaky, and was very disappointed to learn that I did not have any pot with me. Even if I did... 😎

Fyi

Bill,

You might wish to have them list your video in the video section. I believe you just need to email the office and they will add you for next years.

You are listed as a demonstrator but not as a "Movie Star" :cool2:

Hi Steve

I had a conversation about that just last week with one of the ladies in the main office. I had called about advertising in the journal. Next year there will be two listings though! 😉

Bill

Reminded me of the joke where the lady is on the bus, realizes she lost her pills from the Dr and starts yelling, "My aspirins! My aspirins!" Some drunk says, "If your *** burns, stick it out the window."

You did a great job at the demo in 'CHEESEHEAD LAND" last weekend. When I heard you were coming to LaCrosse, I said I was going, sure would not have missed it. Was great to meet you in person, I have followed you with your DVD and on a couple of these forums.

Hope you have recovered your tools. See you in Louisville, again thanks for the great weekend.

Got mine, BUT . . . . . . . .

My Resource Directory came yesterday, but they must know what sort of unsavory character I am because I was not listed. Bummer -- I guess that this means that I am a non-entity -- a turned-down turner -- skewed again. Maybe the silver lining is that I won't be bothered by the phishing scam.
