Hi all
I joined AAW back in Oct (and the local Guild of NH Woodworkers) but just now figuring out I needed to separately register for this forum. Oh well…

I did some turning on a cheap lathe back in the mid-80’s. Loved it - but looking back, I was definitely a total hack. Fast forward to now, I took a turning class from Rockler about a year ago and was hooked once again. This time with a little bit of knowledge. Immediately bought a Laguna 12/16. Been turning as much as I can over the past year. I am getting better - very subjective! Been watching a lot of youtube videos on techniques which have helped.

Sorry, no pictures. My current shop is in my basement, but as I’m approaching retirement and getting ready, will be breaking ground on a barn workshop this spring. Will be a huge change for me since I’ve been in the basement for 37 years!

Looking forward to many discussions here to continue my adventure in turning.

JD
