Jet 1640EVS lathe

Selling my Jet 1640EVS which is still in amazing condition. Works great and was probably all I would ever want, but a used AB showed up in the club newsletter last week and I snagged it. I don’t have room for both, so this baby needs a new, loving owner.

This model has the sliding headstock that also rotates 90 degrees. It comes with an outboard turning arm too. You can see this in the third photo.

I think $2,000 is a fair price, but it is hard to know. I am also selling a Jet 1220 and I can’t find a used version of either online to compare for pricing. Local pickup in Seattle area since it weighs 440 #s. Contact me at paul98004@gmail.com

Usually 60% of new is a good starting point so 1,800 to 2,000. You price is bang on in my opinion.

Thanks for the feedback Glenn. I also listed it on the popular used item apps, and I immediately received stupid, low-ball offers. I think I will have the best luck listing it here and in our local club newsletter.

C’mon Steve. Louisiana to Seattle is just a quick drive across out little country . I am actually sad about selling it but the AB was a good deal and only 25 minutes away. If my wife would let me have all of the garage, I would keep it as a tool to get my friends hooked on our common addition when they come visit.
