Very cool

Cool site.

As a confirmed pack-rat and collector by nature - (come by it honestly - my parents collect collections :D), I am going to really have to resist the urge to start collecting wood samples.

As a member of the International Wood Collectors Society, "IWCS", we offer a lot more than just collecting wood. We are a worldwide organization of about 1100 members. There is something for everyone; from wood identification, wood collecting, wood turning, woodworking projects of all types and anything else associated with wood. The best part is we all love wood, love to talk about it and love collect it ( from a standard size sample to the big stuff suitable for turning). Additional information is available at our website.
