Had an intertesting experience the other day. Went to the local candy store{woodcraft] and laid my arm on the counter. They inserted the needle and drew enough blood to get a tin of Renaissance wax for finishing. When I got home I read the label. It said flammable/ inflammable. Go figure. Max.

FYI, both words mean the same thing.

Also, just for grins, I'm wondering if one of them is actually French or Spanish, depending on the other directions on the can.

English

Is it any wonder that this language is usually deemed the most difficult of all?

flammable > inflammable = same

combustable > incombustable = direct opposites

😉

Reminds me of an old Cheers episode where Sam and Woody are discussing 'infamous' and 'famous'. Woody says, "It must be like flammable and inflammable. Boy, did I learn THAT one the hard way."
