Well, it appears to be just $40 instructions on building a CNC router table. To build it he states $500 but if you decide to make one with higher end materials you can go way up from there. Just look up CNC routers or plasma cutters on YouTube for how to make one. Kinda neat to play with but I like a hand-made “feel” to finished pieces, not manufactured perfection. There are inlaid bowls using CNC but in my view true skill is missing in the finished piece.

Until I read Bill's post it didn't seem like such a bad deal.

It still maybe a good deal. I wasn't knocking the lathe, they are well made. Just Delta for abandoning the lathe business. This one looks like the 46-755, 1 1/2 hp., version, sliding headstock and 1 1/4 x 8 Spindle -- excellent lathes and this one looks hardly used. Most parts can be found, just not from Delta. ereplaement parts carries a lot of the Delta Parts and many other parts off other lathes can be found that will work on the Delta. $1200 with all the tools don't sound bad at all.

looks like this guy wants to sell you a schematic and plans to build a CNC router carving station. Too good to be true? Well it's just a pamphlet and a parts list so there's your $39.00 right there. Unless he's printing them himself ( and he might be) I bet he's making under $5.00 each.
The thing is - - is he a legit authority on the topic. I couldn't tell ya how to make a CNC, but I know how to build machinery.
