Bill, i am hoping to hear of some maple or cherry that went down
most of the power here has been restored, a large white oak went down, it had been hit by lightning before and limbs from pine trees are everywhere. seems the pine branches just snap off with the weight of the snow. most of the trees that went down the roots pulled out because of all the mositure in the ground, drought officially over for now. with the wind it has really been too cold to do more than take a couple of walks, i would hate to have tried to work outside lately. my hats off to all the power crews that restored the power grid. north of here had much more snow, we were on the southern edge of most of this, got some snow, ice south of us
