Welcome to the AAW forum, Howard. Consider joining a local AAW chapter to jump-start your turning experience although it will be a while before things start to return to normal. Meanwhile, many chapters are holding virtual meetings. Also, the AAW has been hosting live remote demonstrations. Welcome to the forum. As Bill mentioned, joining a local chapter is a good choice for learning. Chapters also have mentors who work with new woodturners.
