It was fun. He did a long stemmed goblet, a finial box, an ambrosia maple vase, and an artistic "colored and gold leaf disc thingy".
I believe all of these items are on his videos at one point or another, but it is always nice to ask questions, examine tool grinds, etc.
Jimmy has an excellent personality. I don't know if you've seen one of the other demos he has done (I think he has been in the states since April). He'll be back in GA for the 2008 Unicoi Turning Symposium.
