Does anyone know of a good place on the net to buy Holly. Looking for a very white piece. Lumber style. 50' long 6' wide 1' thick. do not need exact demensions but this is the lumber shape i am looking for. Looking for flat boards for segmenting. Please help!!

I've found some pretty good pieces on E-Bay. I hope you meant 50" x 6" x 1". I don't know much about Holly trees but I don't think they grow 50 feet high by 6 feet wide.
Good luck, Terence

Holly

Eric, I have a couple planks of holly that would suit you but I need to see them in daylight. Will send a PM later today. In this part of the country the discolorations that take place in holly vary from blue mold to minerals in the soils. I find it difficult to find a pure white piece, and keep it white, without going to a kiln. But, you can use Wood Bleach to bring almost any piece to white just before it is used. Phil
