Hello Steven. Love NH, beautiful staate! (especially the mountains) Maybe not the winters as much, but they seem like a good reason to play indoors!
I've never used a Woodfast lathe but I've heard they have some excellent machines.
Are you a member of a turning club? If not, they are a great path to expanding the mind. Happy impending retirement! (I've been retired for almost 20 years and I'd be lying if I said I didn't love it!) You'll find that a lot of creative and helpful people hang out here.
