I’m posting this just so another animal avatar shows up in the header. I don’t really need any more tools. But why don’t the avatars show up once you log in to the form?

Scott, I'm not sure what you are asking. Everytime you post on a thread your avatar shows up.😕

If you have a dial-up connection, it might be that it is taking a while for images to show up. Also, it is unlikely, but possible that your browser is not set to load images automatically for this site. In Firefox, it would be under Tools > Options > Content > Load Images Automatically.

The software (VBulletin) used on this and many other forums has nearly as many options as all the world's religions combined. Under current (as of right now) settings, it seems that some (but not necessarily all) elements of your User CPs are automatically applied to all threads, new and old.

In a few years, when you've replaced your avatars with something besides critters, this thread will seem really, really, really weird.
 
Well, I can’t figure it out. 😕 I’ve read over all of your replies, I’ve checked through all my browser settings (IE 7.0.6) and I don’t see what I can change or adjust to have the Avatars show all the time. What happens to me is this… I brows the forum without logigng in and I see avatars along with every post. I log in with my user name and password and then the avatars are no more! All are gone from any post I check. All this time I just figured that was how the forum software worked and it was only now that I asked why?
