I've read some threads in this forum about the new Grizzly lathe, but I haven't heard anything about one of their other new lathes, the G0462. It is similar to the G0584, but has a stronger motor, digital readout, and the headstock is elevated about 2" higher than the 584 model. The tailstock looks a little weaker than the 584 model, but not having seen either in person I wouldn't want to make any "quick" judgements.

I'm most interested to know
- If there have been issues with the rotating headstock, re-aligning it back to true if you change it to do outboard turning
- How stable the toolrest and banjo are especially when outboard turning
- Any miscellaneous issues with the lathe in general

Your answers would be appreciated!
Thanks
Jim

If you go over the Woodnet's turning forum a couple of owners of this lathe have posted early impressions. They were all favorable, and consider it a good value for the money.
