I had some spare parts from an old harbor freight lathe (jet clone) that I used the small outboard bed extension that is mounted on the headstock end. I drilled a couple of holes in the cast iron legs to bolt this short bed onto a Grizzly G0766 lathe which will allow me to turn large diameter platters on the far end of the lathe. All I need now is an extension for the tool rest post which I can turn on my metal lathe.
