my wife woke me up at 2am to tell me a oneway lathe just came up for sale on the local Facebook. I waited till this morning to make the deal. We pick it up on Monday.
I have always wanted a oneway lathe. Even though this is a small lathe, it’s still a oneway to me. Lol

My question is. What should I know about this lathe. Currently I have a newer PM 3520B and a few Delta midis.

The 1018 is a great little lathe
A real pleasure to on. Great for ornaments, pens, boxes and anything small.
It has a top speed of about 4,000 rpm.

The one I have is 110 and it has a 220 option. Motor is the same but different controller.

It is a 1x8 spindle thread and #2 taper sessions on the head and tailstock.
