I just received my Glaser screw chuck from Highland Hardware for my Oneway 2436 only to find that the chuck does not screw completely onto the spindle. I called Highland Hardware and they were great as usual. They mounted another chuck on their Oneway and found the same problem. All their Glaser 33 x 3.5 chucks are the same. The chucks seem to be improperly machined.
Here are the facts (See attached photos):
Has anyone else run into this problem? Were the original Glaser chucks machined this way?
Is it an issue? I'd like to use all the spindle threads to hold the chuck. Certainly more than 1/2". Your opinions are welcome.

Here are the facts (See attached photos):
- The length of the threaded portion of the spindle is about 7/8"
- The threads on the chuck start about 3/8" into the chuck (from the edge)
- The chuck can't turn past the ring on the spindle at the end of the spindle threads. This means the chuck is only threaded about 1/2" onto the spindle.
