Sorry this isn't about turning. Hope it isn't a rules violation.

Had my grandson over this morning and we made a couple of "monscer trucks". He's five and we spend a bit if time in the shop here and there. He hand sawed the axles, drilled all holes on the drill press, glued and assembled and then sprayed a shellac finish.

Of course he didn't handle any power tools unassisted. Anyway, he's proud of his cars and I'm uplifted by our time together. I told hi. I would put his picture "in the clouds". So here it is, Parker.

Thanks Odie. My eldest grandchild and little buddy. He's chomping at the bit to learn the big tools. All in good time. 🙂

Hi Doug. Yes, for both of us.

Until Alzheimer's kicks in and I start forgetting. But he won't 🙂 There's nothing like working in the shop with Parker, and I'm blessed that he looks forward to it too.
