My son lives in Tuscaloosa, AL. He is looking for a turner who generates extra fire wood. He is a poor college student so if you can supply him with cut offs that would be great. Let me know and I'll put the two of you in touch with each other.

I usually turn green wood. Tossing the remnants into the fire is useless. They don't burn.
Normal dry shaving would likely not be much better.

If you are looking for a turner, who generated enough mistakes, to heat a house?....
Well...

:)

Olaf,
He lives in Tuscaloosa where it doesn't get super cold for very long. He just wants to start an occasional fire for ambiance more than heat. Wet cut offs would be fine since they will dry fairly quickly (think cut offs from the bandsaw when rounding bowl blanks or that type of stuff). Anything would help him and he would pick them up (I hope that goes without saying but did anyway).
