In about a week and a half I will be going live to complete a project that I have been working on for a long time. I went live to turn the project and had an audience of 500 people between face book and Instagram. Sense than it has gained more of a following.

I am amazed at the interest in my work this is only my 8th segmented piece. And may be 40th piece overall sense I have had my little harbor freight lathe. The projects I have planned in the future are as complicated if not more complicated than this one. I guess the real problem I face is I haven’t sold many. I make a great living so o don’t need to sell this stuff however it would be nice to find a place to show and sell. I have contacted the center for art in wood in Philadelphia but haven’t heard any thing back. I am open to suggestions.

Tell us when your going live and how to find it. I'm not very computer literate so take that into consideration. I missed the last one because i had grandkids and couldn't get free. I did join facebook but don't know what I'm doing.

Just go to the the search bar at the top of your face book page it should have a magnifying glass in the left and it says search. Type my name in. Eli Polite. Go to my page and send me a friend request. I’ll see if I can find you and send you one.

I don’t have an exact day or time just yet finishing can be finniky but I will announce a day and time at least 3 days in advance I’ll announce it on face book and Instagram.

Man you've got some kind of talent brother--that piece is comparable to a person doing there 100th or more piece, let alone the 8th, I'm totally impressed--I'm just starting on my first segmented ring bowl, and hope to get a consistent wall thickness piece is my goal at this time. I wouldn't even know how to begin to wind up with details like the 'floating balloon' details in the bottom darker wood rind section--just beautiful!!

Thanks for the share!

Thank you. I have only had a lathe for 3 years and I have only been using it for maybe 2 years. Having said that I have been a wood worker for 30 years. So I’m not without experience
