Of course, after a short time in this hobby, one finds many ways to find wood—friends and neighbors, arborists, gardeners, stores, clubs, etc. But I just saw an ad in American Woodturner for www.woodfinder.com and it’s fascinating. I guess wood stores sign up, add their inventory, and when one searches for a rare wood, the stores with that wood load. I searched this site and no mention was made of the site so I thought it worth posting.
