Would be interested in seeing other peoples booth set up for a small farmers market booth. Single or multiple tables. I just had one for this time.

There was a robust thread on this, or a very similar question, about a year ago. I suspect you will find more ideas and help there than will pop up this time around.

My table at a holiday show. Sorry, they had vendors back to back. I like to put some items up on a block (pedestal) of wood to present it more like art. It seperates it and gives some depth to the display.

Richard, your set up with varying heights is nice. Not too busy, each piece stands on it's own. Do you ever hold back items to replace pieces that sell?

I've only had 2 instances where the customer thought about the base as something more than a sales tool. One insisted the base was included in the price of the bowl, and the other wanted to buy the base as well. All other sales did not involve the base at all. Of course I'm very flexible since all of those are free scrap from a studio furniture builder friend of mine. Thanks for the compliments.

That's interesting Richard. I never thought of that happening but now that you mention it I think it's a compliment to your design and set up. My wife worked in display at a big department store years ago and it's amazing what an effective window display would do for sales. The old adage, "Sell the sizzle, not the steak" comes to mind. Well done.

Not a farmer's market but a recurrent crafts fair. It was pretty windy, so I used the side walls. The day before I had a piece get blown off the table. I spent the last two hours holding the tent down to keep it from blowing away. Next time, more weight on the legs!

I like the pedestals. It does add to the presentation. I like the black tablecloth too.
