Greetings, all,

My spouse and I are planning to take a week-long trip around May 19, 2006. We'd like to include some turning events as part of the trip. Any suggestions? We haven't set a definite location, but being from Minnesota, we'd prefer someplace a bit warmer than home.

Thanks in advance!

Ron,
Consider visiting Texas. It's plenty warm here in May. There is a lot to see and do in various parts of the state, and we have some great woodturners who would be happy to welcome a fellow turner from the north. I'll bet others will jump in here with specific suggestions and invitations.

Florida or Bust!

We decided to hit the Central Florida area, and did change our time frame so that Ron could make one of the local chapter meetings early on in our time. Thanks for the ideas!
