OMG! I'm getting a Stubby 750!!!!! It will be delivered on Nov.1. Someone saw my post lusting after one and reached out to me. He's parting ways with it because of cash flow issues. He generously offered to deliver it and help me set it up.

I'm very sorry that he's fallen on difficult times but am delighted to have an opportunity to help him and promise to love my new lathe as much as he does.

Woodturners are great people!

Anyone need a Jet 1236? 😉

Man are you lucky. I would almost kill for one of those machines. Now we want to see some turnings off that thing.

Congratulations Melissa; I watch Woodturning Workshop on local PBS and that's the brand of machine he turns with and it's exceptional!!! Good luck and good turning.

How do you like that !

I guess it pays to ask. You just never know what will happen. I hope all works out well for both of you.

Enjoy the new toy !

I am sure you will enjoy it for years to come. I am jealous, I have had my eyes on an Omega Stubby for years, all for a lack of funds.
Perhaps a little known fact is they are not very well known in Australia, even though they are made here and have been for years. We see very few of them.

Dreams

Melissa, grats on the score! We expect to see big things from you and your new lathe!
Kurt😀
