I have knocked up a new hollower for the smaller lathe. Its mix of Proform and Munro with a double sided cup cutter.

Handle is stainless with Foam overlay 1-1/4 dia 13" long, Bar is 1/2" x 14" carbon steel hardened to achieve a greater degree of stiffness when fully extended.
The smaller bar is stainless and has a hook tool made for it

I really like your TCT set up, should be easy to adjust even with different cutters. Very nice. I like hook tools and use them a bunch, but I would want to see how you use so much edge... Any problems going across the bottom?

Bill, The big radius with lots of edge, the idea was to try and get a flatter smoother finish on the bottom of largish open bowls. I am still playing with this one and the jury is still out.

[So, got your stomping lathe ready to head for the woods, \

🙂 nah I like my technology they will be running on a 1.5hp variable speed lathe of my own design when its finished. In the meantime I have an old Woodfast short bed that will do for testing.
