Density of Tipa

Hello,
I am trying to find the density and weight of an Argentine wood named Tipa because I want to find a wood which is denser yet lighter.

If you can point me to a site, I would appreciate it.

More dense but less weight? 😱 Density is mass (weight) per volume so the weight is only a function of how much volume there is . Do you mean hardness?

Clarification

Yes, in response to Gran's question, I suppose that the question is what wood is harder yet lighter than Tipa or Tipu.

There may be a better set of wood comparisions than the link I gave you above. But it does a pretty good job comparing different kinds of wood properties to oak. BTW I really wasn't trying to be a smart a$$ it just sort of came out that way. Sorry the physics background just got the best of me.
