Delta Midi (46-460) Stand/Leg extension - any alternatives that would work?

Hey everyone,

I bought a bed extension for my delta 46-460 and it has arrived. I also ordered the leg/stand extension (46-464) from somewhere else (only place I could find it that didn't say it was out of stock). That was toolmarts.com

Anyway, never got an update on shipping so I called them and they said they didn't have it in stock either and weren't able to get help from delta. They said they've tried calling them but are getting nowhere (and we all know Delta's situation right now doesn't look too good).

I could find some of the individual parts on delta's parts site but not enough of them to put together an stand extension in parts.

So, now I'm looking either for that leg/stand extension somewhere or perhaps another manufacturer's set that might fit or be able to be "modified" to fit.

Coincidentally, when I google search for it, Sears actually comes up as a hit, but when I go there, it takes me to a Rikon leg extension kit. So I don't know if that means it would fit the delta as well or if it's just Sears doing a bait and switch. I couldn't see where the product details said it would fit the delta stand.

At some point I plan to build a real lathe stand for it, but that won't be too soon and I'd like to use the bed extension in the meantime if I could.

Any ideas?

Thanks all,

Kevin
