Carving tool question

John
Not exactly those models, but I've used something similar on an angle-grinder. They remove massive amounts of wood, very fast (be careful, they will also remove massive parts of you😱)

John,
Let me know what you think after trying them. I have both the 4 1/2 and mini Arbortech and they work well. A bit scary the first time but you get over that really quick. Easy to control and clears chips well. The only concern I have with this blade and a minor one at that, is it's ability to clear chips and the ability to cut to the side or a sweeping cut. I think if you take is slow it should be fine. Straight cuts I don't see any advantage the arbortech would have except it has 3 cutters instead of 4 which would clear chips better, but may not give as smooth a cut as this blade.
Please let me know.

John,
Just make sure that your guard and cutting edge are positioned so that, in case of kick-back, the tool is pulled away from you instead of into your face.
I had a close call with a lancelot blade in an angle grinder the first time I used it, then realized the guard was not mounted in the correct position and I was using the wrong quadrant for cutting.
