Hi, all.
I'm Bob Sheppard. I live in north NJ, I've been turning for over 30 years, and have been a member of the NJ Woodturners almost from their beginning.
Most of my turning is usually furniture related, although I've recently been getting back into bowls. But when I do, I remember that with spindle turning, I don't have to deal with all that cross grain <G>

Welcome to the AAW forum, Bob. Glad to have you aboard. Do you have any pictures of you and /or your shop and turnings that you would like to share?
Hi. Bill
Here's a couple of pics of my shop, and one of a table I made a number of years ago.
I know its a long shot, but did you go to high school in NJ? I had a classmate with the same name as yoursshop 2.jpg shop 1.jpg shop 3.jpg table.jpg

I'm envious of all that open floor space......must be nice! :D

Odie-
thanks for the welcome. It helps that I basically have 2 shops. Its kind of complicated, but my wife is a pastor, and my lathe and small power tools are here in the church parsonage, while my table saw, jointer, and band saw are in the the house we actually own, and will be moving back into this spring.
But I hate being cramped, so just about everything is on wheels.

Wow, actually another Bill Boehme. :D We're a rare breed. When I was in high school I was still going by Billy Ray. Southern boys often had a double first name. :D I'm a few years older than you ... 71.
