What are they? On his site ( I've already asked him on the 7th haven't heard back yet). There are things called blanks.
Any one know if these are round or flat? There are only two dimensions and no images. So I'm kind of stuck. Plus I don't know if the are weld-able or hardened.
  • 14 blank 1/4 X 7 inch blank

  • 38blank 3/8" X 7 inch blank

  • 12 Blank 1/2" Blank

Unless I am mistaken, the blanks are rods 1/4 3/8 1/2 by 7 that you can sharpen to whatever profile you want.
One comes with the traveling set, 3/8 I think. I made a point tool out of it.

The best, and only way I have found to get info directly from Doug is to phone him. His # is on the site as well as an email contact, but he apparently doesn't use the email.
