Any suggestions for dust mask protection that will fit under Bionic face shield. Thanks
[Edit 7/10/f16: This mask didn't work as well as I thought. The exhale function does not keep up with volume inhaled, and I end up breathing too much CO2, and it collects moisture after a very short time. Bummer.] I've been wearing this one for a couple weeks now, under my face shield, and have found it much more comfortable than even high-quality disposable masks. The crown-pieces do not interfere with putting on the face shield, and the mask fits within the space available under the shield, and it's much easier to wear my close-up-glasses since the dust mask has a soft interface that can sit anywhere on my nose.Any suggestions for dust mask protection that will fit under Bionic face shield. I have no experience with this, but I've been interested in it for a while now. Fits under a mask and uses a scuba-like mouthpiece connected to two hepa filters behind your head (99.7% of 0.3 microns?). I've seem Jim Duxbury (sp?) demo it twice now, and it looks like it would be a good solution. Here's a utube video he put together. Jim's a pretty ingenious guy.

Biggest drawback for non-divers is learning to breath through your mouth only...

I don't have the Bionic face shield, but I like these 3M N100 filters. They are soft and comfortable and have a low profile. The down side is that they are a bit pricey and you have buy a box of twenty.
Bill, how long do they last?
The one that I have now is sort of brown. I've used it for several months. Being cheap I probably use them too long ... until I can't stand wearing it.
