So today I am taking a few minutes off from standing nonstop in front of the lathe to get my hair cut so I will look nice for the show this weekend. I have been going to this barber for almost six years now, and we have talked about many different things.

He being an occasional woodworker, I recommended our new Woodcraft store in Allentown last time I was in. Today, as he is finishing up with the razor, he says, "Oh yeah, I took a ride up to that store and was looking around. They have a TV in the back, and guess who was on?" Well I knew where this was going, but then he surprised me by saying, "And as I walked by, you were making some sort of comment about your barber taking too much off the top and look what happened to you!"

What are the chances of this happening!?! 😱

Anyway, he got a big kick out of it and we had a good laugh over it. It just goes to show that you never know who is going to see or hear you wherever you may go. I asked him if he told the folks in the store he was my barber. I don't think there is anyone there who doesn't know me, but he didn't know that, so he remained mum about the whole thing. I should have asked if he got clipped while he was in there! But he still had that razor in his hand...
