Looking for any info on members of the Bayou Woodturners, who mostly live in the New Orleans area. My thoughts and prayers are with y'all in this time of need. I hope you and your families made it out of the area OK.

My family and I are all OK with no major damage.

Our club president finally was able to post a message on our web page that he made it out OK and the condition of some of our other members that he knew of.

Please keep the members of the Bayou Woodturners in your thoughts and prayers.

Gorst

Don't know if he is a member, but got an email from Gorst duPlessis - he got out before the storm, figures he won't get to see his home in N.O. for another month or so, has no idea of damage, looting, etc.
 
Thanks for the update on Gorst DuPlessis - a lot of people know him.

People should feel free to post similar notes here - on the status of people they are wondering about, or the status of people they have contacted.
