Could someone please explain to me what the difference is between skip, hook & raker teeth?
I plan to cut green and dry wood. The saw that I have is the Grizzly G0555 w/6" riser block (1/8"-3/4" blade widths). I will be doing ripping and cross cutting up too 12".
Please give me some advice on the blades that would be best suited for the above use.
 
When I was talking to the folks at Suffolk machinery, they recommended an "AS" or additional set blade for cutting green wood. The AS blade has a slightly larger kerf from what I understand. Their web site might provide you with some additional info. http://www.suffolkmachinery.com/
I've been very pleased by their blade recommendations so far.

I've ordered blades from Suffolk and as others have posted they have excellent info on their website. They are also great to just talk to about what you need. I found them to be very helpful.
