@Bill Boehme helped me before with converting my old Fein vacuum to a bag system. I had some help today cleaning the shop. My friend asked me if I was sure I was buying the right bags for my vacuum. The bags seems to be too tall and not wide enough for it. I should add that they do work, but a bag that fits the profile better might last longer. I'm attaching some pictures.

Yep, that's the right bag, but it is really confusing because the bag says it is for the 9.77.25 which is the previous Turbo III model. I think that the one we have is a 9.20.26 or something like that. For some strange reason they don't mention the later Turbo III model that we have. It also fits the Turbo IV which is a much bigger stainless steel industrial VAC. The Turbo IV was discontinued long ago and was much taller so that the bags fit better. Also, the previous Turbo III model was somewhat taller than the one that we have. Anyway, the proper way to install the bag is to have it go straight down the front and then across the bottom and up the back a few inches. Once it starts to fill up it will puff up like a balloon and there shouldn't be any problems. But I do agree that they could have designed a much better fitting bag instead of just using the bag for the old models. I have a feeling that Fein has gone downhill from what they used to be.

Thank you for erasing my doubts Bill. My friend was certain I got the wrong bag... This bag is tall and skinny. The vacuum is wide and short... Today I recycled my first bag. I stapled it a lot, then added a lot of duct tape. I also ordered more on Amazon, 3 bags for $14... Thanks for your reply, greatly appreciated.

One of the reason,s I moved away from units with paper bags as they tend to be expensive down under. Now I have a big unit in the corner of the shop 6" ducting and use Costco bin liners for collection.

I hear you... I was using the filter and no bags. But the vacuum is so old that I couldn't find the filter anywhere. I had lost some of the parts to go to bags and @Bill Boehme was nice enough to send me some spare parts to make it work...
