What is the latest on eccentric chucks. Are there now more than three or less? Which one seems to be better at repeatable settings? Where can one buy one?

To the best of my knowledge the only (US) source for the Vicmarc Eccentric #3 chuck is the Woodworkers Emporium in Los Vegas

I bought my Escoulen #2 through Woodworkers Emporium. Similar to the #1, but larger and adapted to a faceplate type blank attachment.

I bought this a couple years ago and have had fun with it. The more I use it the more I realize it's potential. Available HERE:
Sorby has nice documentation and a video. Movie clip at bottom of page HERE
It is well made. There are so many design possibilities when you change centers. The problem is most of them are UGLY. So you have to develop your ability to envision results that might work, and throw a lot of options in the fire.
You can do a lot of course with your own fixtures set in 2 jaws (2 removed) from a standard scroll chuck. Not as repeatable of course, but with index marks you an create visual repeatability.
Bottle stoppers like THIS are fairly straight forward with the screw chuck. Medallions fun with the face plate.

There was at least one vendor (a Dan Hoffman from Sorrento, FL if I recall correctly) at the recent Florida Woodturning Symposium who demonstrated an off-center turning chuck. It had adjustments and markings to allow great precision and repeatability, including the ability to adjust a small amount in a negative direction from dead center. (IOW, opposite the normal positive offset while remaining chucked.)
