AAW Symposium information

The demo list is posted on the AAW home page
http://woodturner.org/sym/sym2012/2012SanJoseDemonstratorList.pdf

A Demonstrator section should be on the symposium web page soon.

Below is a fairly recent list of the participants and the number of demonstrations and panels they will have.
Lost some formating. I can read it but I know what it should say.

It will be worth the wait!

Two things I hope to do every year are To attend both the Florida Symposium and the AAW symposium.

The Florida symposium has 8 excellent demonstrators, 10-15 vendor trade show, 100-200 piece instant gallery, 250-300 attendees.....
The AAW has over 80 excellent demonstrators, 60-80 vendor trade show, 1300-1800 piece instant gallery, 1400-1900 attendees, 3 gallery shows....

I enjoy the intimacy of the florida symposium. I can watch each demonstrator and have lunch with some of them. I can see the whole trade show and all the pieces in the instant gallery
I enjoy the variety of options in the AAW. it is a pleasantly overwhelming task of picking 11 of over 160 demonstrations to see. I have never see all the instant gallery or all of the trade show. Oh I walk through it all but every time I go In either I focus on something I really did not see before.

Florida Symposium is about a week away.
There are also dozens of other excellent regional symposiums some large, some small, all worth considering.
