Using Windows 10 I can't sign in to my AAW account on the home page and then view American Woodturner issues without signing in again on the publications page. Is this a shared experience?
Kevin, The forum is staffed by volunteers admins that do not work for the AAW. The AAW staff sometimes watch here but you will get a quicker response by contacting them directly. I can try to give you a few pointers though. What web browser are you using and do you have any sort of ad blocker running in your browser that might be causing problems. I am on a Win10 x64 machine and have no issues with Firefox or Chrome as long as my ad blocker is disabled for woodturner.org. Hopefully that helps, otherwise reach at to the AAW Home Office. Good Luck!!

Also look closely at your URL - if you sign in to woodturner.org (without the www. prefix) and then the link within the website goes to www.woodturner.org, your login cookie likely would be invalid.. if you go to woodturner.org by way of a bookmark, check your bookmark to be sure it starts with https: because if your bookmark is to http: url , and you login from that, the rest of the site under https: would not work (since login cookie for http: will not work under https: ) .. just a couple things to look at.. (or could be your browser has a cached cookie or corrupt cache - a reboot and/or clear temporary internet files might solve that) .. lot of possibilities, really hard to diagnose those even for active real-time tech support (which I was once, back in the '00's)
Hi Kevin: I know of one other member who reports a similar experience. I tweaked the code this afternoon and hope that might make a difference. If you continue to have issues, please contact us at memberservices@woodturner.org or 651-484-9094.
Kim, I am able now to sign in on the homepage and directly access the magazine- thanks. This is one of those minor intertubes annoyances that are scarcely worth tracking down the rabbit hole for a casual user, but I recognize the effort it takes to code a website seamlessly.
